Resin-bound is what we lay – gravel mixed through the resin, so it’s smooth and water can soak through. Resin-bonded is gravel stuck on top, which sheds stones and doesn’t drain as well. If someone quotes “resin” without saying which, ask.

Usually not, because a properly laid resin-bound surface is permeable (SUDS). Front gardens over 5m² in non-permeable materials can need permission – resin-bound typically avoids that. We’ll check your property on the visit.

Resin is smooth, low-maintenance and drains well. Block paving is the most patterned and easy to lift for repairs. Gravel is the cheapest up front but moves around. We’ll show you samples and be honest about what suits your house, budget and how you park.

Sweep and hose it. No pressure-washing on a high setting for the first few weeks. Oil should be wiped sooner rather than later. No loose stones to top up, no sand to brush in. That’s the point of it.
